Hon. Gregory P. Peterson Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

Our own Gregory P. Peterson was honored by the Nassau County Republican Committee on Friday, March 9th. Mr. Peterson was given the Committee’s Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2018 Inaugural Ball for his dedicated public service. Mr. Peterson has held public office as Chairman and CEO of Nassau Downs OTB (1998-2001); Presiding Supervisor, Town of Hempstead (1993-1998); Supervisor, Town of Hempstead (1987-1993); Councilman, Town of Hempstead (1972-1987); 2nd Vice Chairman, Nassau County Republican Committee (2011-Present); and Commissioner, New York State Board of Elections (2008-Present).

Mr. Peterson concentrates his practice on real estate, land use, and zoning. He counsels clients, including some of Long Island’s most prominent developers, on navigating the often complex governmental processes required to successfully develop their real estate projects.
