New York Real Property Law Journal publishes article by firm partner Bruce J. Bergman

Firm partner Bruce J. Bergman’s article “The Anomaly of Foreclosure Legal Fee Awards in New York County” was published in Vol 51 (2023) of the N.Y. Real Property Law Journal.  Legal fee compensation in a mortgage foreclosure action is a meaningful aspect of the case both for plaintiffs and defendants.  New York County has its own nuances in this regard as does the subject itself – aspects of which are addressed in this piece.  Mr. Bergman heads the firm’s commercial foreclosure department and is the author of the four volume treatise “Bergman On New York Mortgage Foreclosures”, LexisNexis Matthew Bender (rev. 2023).
