Gale Miller v. Town of Hempstead et al.
Plaintiff, an employee of the Town of Hempstead’s Department of Parks and Recreation, filed a lawsuit in the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York, alleging First Amendment retaliation, discrimination and retaliation in violation of the American’s With Disabilities Act, violation of the New York State Human Rights Law and various municipal liability claims against the Town. After a lengthy discovery period, the Honorable Judge Steven I. Locke granted BHPP’s motion for summary judgment on behalf of the Town.
