On February 4, 2021, Megan K. McNamara and Rajdai D. Singh were featured presenters for the Nassau County Bar Association Continuing Legal Education program entitled “Recent Rules in Real Estate: An Update on Real Estate Law Trends Since the Pandemic.” Ms. McNamara and Ms. Singh discussed the developments and impact on foreclosures in New York State as a result of COVID-19, Governor Cuomo’s executive orders and administrative orders. Specifically, they addressed the impact of the current requirements and legislation on residential foreclosures actions and provided an in-depth look into how the state and individual counties are operating. In addition, they spoke about “best practices” for lenders, servicers and law firms as well as trends expected to arise as a result of the pandemic.
